The fresh red rose is cut-off from the stem and submerged into a non-toxic chemical for three days, where it becomes white and loses its oils and natural color. Then the moisture of the rose is replaced with conditioners for another three days, together with the choice of coloring. The rose regains its liveliness and shape, with a new soft texture and more vibrant color.

The rose being cut-off was like the impact of my unexpected diagnosis. The submerging process was the surrender to God and the removal of all negative thoughts through prayer and His word. Then came the renewal, with a focus on positivity and purpose, a regained liveliness, and an understanding of my identity as a child of God. Today I am restored - all things are made new.

EL PROCESO Y EL SIGNIFICADO

La rosa roja fresca se corta del tallo y se sumerge en una sustancia química no tóxica durante tres días, donde se vuelve blanca y pierde sus aceites y su color natural. Luego, la humedad de la rosa se reemplaza con acondicionadores durante otros tres días, junto con la elección del color. La rosa recupera su vivacidad y forma, con una nueva textura suave y un color más vibrante.

El corte de la rosa fue como el impacto de mi diagnóstico inesperado. El proceso de inmersión fue la rendición a Dios y la eliminación de todos los pensamientos negativos a través de la oración y su palabra. Luego vino la renovación, con un enfoque en la positividad y el propósito, una vitalidad recuperada y una comprensión de mi identidad como hija de Dios. Hoy estoy restaurada, todas las cosas hechas nuevas.
